RootAI’s story begins not in a Silicon Valley garage — but in Chhapra, one of Bihar’s most vibrant yet underserved cities. It was here, among communities hungry for opportunity and sectors starved of technology, that our founder Binay Kumar saw something most tech entrepreneurs never look for: the places where AI could truly change lives.
With 15 years of experience building AI solutions across industries, Binay had seen what the technology could do when given the right mission. He had worked with enterprises, startups, and institutions — but always felt that the most transformative applications of AI were being ignored because they weren’t the most profitable.
So he built RootAI. Not to chase profit — but to chase purpose.
What started as a small team with a big mission has grown into a multi-city, multi-country organisation, serving clients from Patna to Pune, Hyderabad to the UK, with a presence that now extends to the global stage — including our participation in AI Summit 2026 in New Delhi.

When I started my career in AI, the question everyone asked was: ‘How can AI make more money?’ I started asking a different question: ‘How can AI change more lives?’
